Most devices have some sort of battery-saving features built in. The app was just updated and is officially out of beta and ready to save you some juice and time being tethered to a wall outlet. It’s called Snapdragon BatteryGuru, and as expected, will only work with Qualcomm Snapdragon powered devices. luckily, I don't go to the mall often lol.The silicon maker Qualcomm powers the Galaxy S III, HTC’s One, and the new GALAXY S 4 just to name a few, and they will all be able to enjoy their new app. I've had absolutely no issues with my battery lasting what equates to "all day" for me only when I'm in crap coverage does the life ever get sucked out of it. You may be attached to HSPA+ but your device is still looking for LTE and draining your battery significantly. A suggestion for you, if you're in a area with crappy LTE coverage then. From the Android user reviews the app improves battery life by 4-6 hours depending on ur usage. I was hoping that Qualcomm had the same app for the snap dragon BlackBerry devices.
I need to be convinced not to return or exchange my z10. Why did BlackBerry put a smaller 1800 mah battery in the z10? I do understand they GS3 does have a larger display but obviously 1800 mah isn't enough to power this bad boy the bold 9700/97 mah batteries with their single core 6xx mhz processor. The z10 and s3 have the same processor basically. He said that what most of the returns exchanges have been for.
Now I'm hearing the voice of the Telus rep in my head saying "You're going to be bringing back this phone due to the battery Life".

I've basically been on the hspa+ with full bars.I'm disappointed with the battery life. Note: I haven't been browsing on the LTE network since I only get the single by my Window or outside. I spent about 3.5-4 out of the 5 hours on the phone using the browser for mobile syrup and the CB mobile site. Just over 95% battery at around 830am this morning.
To be honest I've had my z10 for 2.5 days. Can one of the CB masters reach out to BlackBerry or Qualcomm to see if they have plans on having a bb10 version of this app.
